Spark Tank is Travis AFB's annual keystone event, designed to platform the most innovative ideas from around the Wing. Ideas are submitted from all over (including airmen, family members, and civilians) to help solve the issues which face our wing.
Industry Week
Experience a week dedicated to empowering innovation! Participate in interactive classes designed to equip Travis AFB personnel with the skills to become innovators within their work centers. The week culminates in an exciting finale event featuring booths and panels from various industry partners, offering valuable insights.

2-Day, In Person Course at the Phoenix Spark Lab
This is a two-day course intended to teach the fundamentals of additive manufacturing.
Students will learn:
Fundamentals of Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD)
Fundamentals of FDM additive manufacturing (3D Printing), equipment operation, and safety
How to leverage existing open-source or military and civilian designs
How to collaborate with the DoD additive manufacturing community
How to combine all of these skills to enable students to design and print their own original creation using the Phoenix Spark Innovation Lab.
